AUSTIN, TX | APRIL 29, 2019

Ceresa, a tech-enabled platform that is helping close the women’s leadership gap through a radically better mentorship model, today announced the appointment of Nicole Tanzillo as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, and Beth Yehaskel as Chief Customer Officer. Both Tanzillo and Yehaskel will report to Ceresa Founder and CEO, Anna Robinson.

“I’m thrilled to have Nicole and Beth on board. Combined, they bring over four decades of experience in technology and operations, and they share a deep-rooted commitment to Ceresa’s mission and to building a people-centric culture,” said Anna Robinson, Founder and CEO of Ceresa. “This is an exciting time of growth for Ceresa, and they will play an integral role in leading our team as we bring ‘radically better mentoring’ to thousands of women.”

With a Computer Engineering degree from Texas A&M University, Tanzillo brings creativity and an analytical approach to execute on Ceresa’s mission of closing the global women’s leadership gap. Before joining Ceresa, she held several leadership roles at Spiceworks, including Vice President of Business Operations and Executive Director of Product Operations. Tanzillo leads product, member operations, and marketing to create an engaging, high-impact end-to-end experience for Ceresa mentees and mentors. She also oversees all business operations, including ensuring alignment between Ceresa’s internal and external missions and building a company culture of meaning.

“Our mission at Ceresa is a very personal one,” said Tanzillo. “I’m lucky to have experienced firsthand the transformative impact of great mentorship over the course of my career, and I can’t overstate the difference it has made. It’s my sincere hope that, through Ceresa, we can give more women leaders than ever before access to the support and tools they need to build and thrive in intentional, high-impact careers and lives.”

Yehaskel has over twenty years of professional experience scaling rapidly growing companies and building strong teams that provide amazing experiences for customers across their lifecycle. Before joining Ceresa, Yehaskel spent several years at Spredfast as VP of Customer Success and VP of Business Operations, and most recently served as VP of Customer Success for Jungle Scout. Leading the growth engine at Ceresa, Yehaskel will use her expertise to oversee customer success, sales, and business development.

“As a former Peace Corps volunteer and longtime mentor, I’m always looking for ways to empower others to succeed,” said Yehaskel. “I’m proud to support a mission-based company working to address the women’s leadership gap, which is a topic I’ve been passionate about for years.”

In addition to two new hires, Ceresa has continued its growth with the recent launch of the Ceresa magazine, which serves as an online resource for industry news, research, and perspectives. Focusing on women as leaders and mentors, as well as broader workplace diversity, the magazine brings awareness to the gender leadership gap and offers insight on how to address it.
